Not a super strong flavor so I'd stick with regular beer if you can use it. Worked well on my blackened fish blend.

I tried to make a beer flavored burger - 1/4 lb with 2 tablespoons of powder didn't give even a hint of taste. I tried using it as a marinade for fake beer can chicken, again not a taste. It was expensive enough that I don't want to be using 1/2 cup for 1 meal.
