Usage:1 tsp. per 8oz. ham gravy or water. 0.2 lbs per 1 gallon of water. Simmer 5 minutes.

I have used this ham soup base for a long time. A little goes a long way. Gives any bean soup that extra zing if you don't have any ham around.

The flavor and aroma are great and spot on without adding too much salt. In addition to soups & stews, we use this delicious and nostalgic product to flavor gravies, beans, chili, marinades, etc. or to boost the flavor of prepared dishes that need 'help.' So glad we found this!

I never make a pea or bean soup without it. Great taste. Also good in green beans, scalloped potatoes , chili. Anywhere you want a true hammy, smokey taste.

if you make beans or stews, add a tablespoon and you are done. we also add it the water when boiling mashed potatoes.

Great Flavor! Add to any pork or ham recipe for extra ham flavor but be careful or can end up too salty. Hopefully they will come out with a lo-salt version like they did with the Beef and Chicken. Then I would give it 5 stars.

When the company making what was my staple for ham seasoning quit making it, I searched for a replacement and was very picky doing so! I never make beans, split pea soup, some of my name brand dips, and potato soup without a good ham seasoning. While this isnt 100% of my old stuff it's as close as I could come. Just dont add salt until you taste first.

Very good Ham flavor. Well worth the cost. I've used it in soups, beans, stews, rice dishes, gravies, etc. Adds a nice flavor of Ham to my dishes.
