Chicken Soup Base

Make a great basic chicken soup when you start with Chicken Soup Base. Simply add diced chicken, celery, carrots, Minced Onions, Parsley Flakes and two tablespoons of butter to four cups of water, boil and simmer, then salt and pepper to taste.
Or, whip up a quick chicken gravy by combining 1 ounce of Chicken Soup Base with 2 ounces of margarine or chicken fat, 1/2 ounce of corn starch, 1 ½ ounces of all purpose flour, and 1 quart of water in a sauce pan. Bring to boiling over medium heat while stirring frequently with a wire whip.
UsageMix 1 ounce of soup base in 1 quart of water, bring to boil, simmer to taste. Yields .75 qt
