It's my favorite seasoning for just about any kind of meat. It's subtle and lets the flavor of the meat shine through.

After the spice company I've frequented for the past 20 years turned highly political, I've been looking for other companies to fill my spice needs. The Chicago Steak Seasoning from this other company was a very specific blend, and American Spice Company makes the closest alternative. My family loves it sprinkled on quartered and olive-oiled fingerling potatoes. Pop in a hot (425+) oven for 25 minutes. The smokey aspect really works well with potatoes.

I love this seasoning on burgers and steaks. It adds a nice peppery garlic flavor without being overly noticed ..it just enhances the flavor.
