Description
A spice often mentioned on cooking shows, black cardamom adds rich flavor to a variety of dishes. Similar to cinnamon, try adding cardamom to your morning oatmeal with some vanilla extract and brown sugar for a different way to wake up. You could also add it to black or green tea for a yummy chai-like treat. Cardamom is also great in a variety of baked goods. The most popular and most traditional use for cardamom, however, is in curry dishes and other Indian cuisine. Use with cumin and other spices to add different layers of flavor.
