If you are very sensitive to spiciness as I am, you may think that this has just a tiny bit of heat to it. But, it's really not spicy when used lightly. It doesn't seem to have a strong flavor of its own. Mostly it enhances the flavor of whatever food it's added to. I sprinkle it in soups, salads, meats, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Really like this!
