Madagascar Vanilla Bean Grade B



Grade B Vanilla Beans are often named Extraction Grade Vanilla as they are primarily used in making vanilla extract. Our Grade B Madagascar Vanilla Beans are perfect for making extract, giving a dark, chocolatey flavor. Making your own vanilla extract is truly a unique experience you won't forget. Homemade Vanilla Extract also makes great gifts! Grade B Vanilla Beans are much drier than Grade A Vanilla Beans, as the Grade B beans rely on alcohol to extract the vanilla flavor.


For Vanilla Extract, use 7 to 8 Grade B Vanilla Beans per 8 fl/oz of alcohol. Chop beans in 1/2" pieces before placing in alcohol. Shake daily and leave for 8 weeks.
