Usage:Soak the dry porcini mushrooms in hot water for five minutes, then use them with the liquid.

This is a pretty big bag o' mushrooms for the price, and I have yet to have a problem in terms of moisture getting in and spoiling them. Porcini is one of Mother Nature's treats, and since I live in Asia, I always pack a bag to take with (I live overseas 11 months of the year). ALWAYS remember to save the soaking liquid; if I don't use it right away, I freeze it for later use.
