Hot Beef Jerky

 If you enjoy making your own beef jerky or deer jerky at home, trying adding a different flavoring to your next batch.  Hot Beef Jerky would be a great place to start!  From there, you could kick up the heat a bit more with either Cajun Style Jerky Seasoning or turn on the tanginess with BBQ Jerky Seasoning.  You could also try other, more unconventional flavors, such as Maple flavored jerky or Teriyaki flavored jerky.  You can add these mixtures straight to the meat mix. 


Cut meat into stripes 1/4 to 3/8 inch thick. Put the meat, seasoning mix,cure and equal parts of teriyaki, worcester, and 1 tsp tabasco if desired,into a glass container and marinate overnight. Drape the strips on rack of oven w/ a drip pan. Set oven at 140 or lower for 6-8 hours.


Salt, Sugar, Spices, Hydrolyzed Soya Protein, (1.24%)Onion and Garlic Powder, Sodium Erythorbate 7/32 oz. Extractives of pepper and less than 2% Sodium Aluminosilicate to prevent caking.
