Was super excited to try this !! I was a chef at the summit club next door for eleven years and had Coney Island 4-5 times a week ! I have lived in California now for almost 7 years without a coney in sight ! Needless to say it just doesn't even come close to the original sauce from Fort Wayne ! They are definitly leaving something out
Still Testing, but...

Tasty, but will use much less spice than specified in the recipe next time.

This product is very nice, not sure it matches the original but it can stand on its own as a product worth having. I have a lot of things I want to try it with.

I use it in anything that calls for chili powder and other spices. I used it in my meatloaf, it gave it a good flavor. Will buy it again.
Just like the Fort Wayne Hot Dogs I lve.

I love this seasoning! I can make the Coney Dogs from Fort Wayne,IN I grow up on at home. With the seasoning you can add as much or as little fat as you want. What I do is add more seasoning and water and leaner hamburger if I want to make it healthier. If that isn't important to you, follow the directions add a little more seasoning and if you would like you can add extra fat like crisco to it. I will tell you, the longer it sits the more the flavors of the spice go through the mix. I simmer for 3 hours
