Cinnamon oil soothes the soul in homemade candles, soaps, body sprays, and massage oils. Some use cinnamon oil as a home remedy for toothaches! At least two studies- one from a multi-national team of surgeons and another from French researchers indicate that cinnamon oil nullifies certain bacteria. Thus, you'll find cinnamon oil in natural sanitizers along with lemon balm and menthol-eucalyptus oil.
Cinnamon oil flavors cider, hard candies, coffees, cocktails, apples, desserts, and old-fashion toothpicks!
Usage:It is employed mainly in the flavouring industry where it is used in meat and fast food seasonings, sauces and pickles, baked goods, confectionery, cola-type drinks, tobacco flavours and in dental and pharmaceutical preparations.

Great for apple butter.
Not as Strong as Expected

In the old days you used to have to be careful with cinnamon oil because it would burn you. Although there was some risk, it was preferable because you could determine the strength in recipes. The oil doesn't seem to be near as strong now. Not sure what happened or why. With that said, this about as close as I have gotten to concentrated cinnamon oil so glad to have found it and the shipment was prompt and as promised.

I used this in my Hot cinnamon Candy recipe and find it not to be hot. Only used 1 tsp as recipe called for. Maybe I need to use more. When I made the candy before I bought the oil at a pharmacy and it was very HOT.
Not what I expected

I was able to make the cinnamon toothpicks I use to make as a teenager. All I needed was the Cinnamon Oil, toothpicks, a plastic tub and time. What a fun and simple thing to make.
