How to Use Barbeque Rubs
It’s easy to become an expert with the grill when you apply our BBQ rubs.
1. As you prep the meat, trim all excess fat before you apply the BBQ rub. A barbeque rub can be wet or dry depending on which meat or rub you use.
2. Let the meat come to room temperature before you apply it. Lay your meats on a large plate or in a wide bowl and use your hands to add your spices by rubbing them into the meat. Add a bit of water to the rub if you prefer to baste them on.
3. After applying the BBQ rub, wrap meat loosely and let the spice sink in. Or, toss them into an airtight baggie and keep them in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Let that barbeque rub soak into the meat!
4. Keep a little extra barbeque rub on hand for use while grilling to brush on meats for extra flavor. Or, mix with water for an easy BBQ sauce.
