Sour Cream Powder

Mixed with water, Sour Cream Powder can be used in practically anything you can think of as a replacement for the refrigerated version. Create dips, sauces, potatoes, cakes, muffins, spreads, and casseroles - you name it- with sour cream powder!

Try this sour cream biscuit recipe:

1 cup lemon/lime flavored soda, 8 ounces sour cream, 4 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. baking powder, and ½ tsp. salt. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Mix the wet ingredients and gradually add the dry ingredients. Roll the dough on a floured surface and cut with a biscuit cutter or glass rim. Bake 20 minutes.

For variations, you may want to add cheddar cheese powder, smoked black pepper, dill weed, or whole sweet basil.
