One of the most common pepper substitutes is Allspice, however, many believe that Grains of Paradise provide the ideal substitute for pepper.

Steak & Seafood Peppercorn Recipe
Ingredients
Directions
- Rub the crushed peppercorns on both sides of the meat or seafood. Sprinkle with lemon pepper, and garlic salt.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter. Stir in wine and cook for 1 minute. Grill steaks and seafood until desired doneness. Then, place steaks or seafood in a pan. Carefully pour the brandy and light with a match. The flames will burn out. Sprinkle the onions, shallots, and natural cream around the meat or seafood. Cook, stirring the sauce, until hot. Transfer to plates and enjoy.

- Stir together all ingredients, chill, and serve with veggies, chips and steak tips. For extra kick, add crushed smoked Serrano peppers.
