Product Description

A Chef's of America Award winner (Gold Medal), this fiery sauce is the unique cornerstone of all our products - gives them all what we call, the flavor and the fire. Our Sherry Peppers Sauce® incorporates 17 herbs and spices, and of course, those attention getting piquant peppers! Unlike many hot "sauces" our Original Sherry Peppers Sauce has a robust aroma and flavor. We're not out to just burn you. Oh, it has a bite, but it is the flavor that lingers, not the heat. Use it to enhance sauces, soups, stews, chowders, pep up a dip or dressing, put zing in a Bloody Mary or a martini, with vegetables, scrambled eggs; - almost anywhere a little "uplifting" is needed

Sherry Peppers Sauce can be used like a regular hot pepper sauce, but the sherry gives it a very unique flavor. Made from peppers and selected spices steeped in dry sherry for several months, it's truly delicious. It's particularly good in soups and fish chowders, in sauces, marinades and barbecue sauce. Sprinkle it over fried eggs, fried tomatoes, and pan fried fish. Use sparingly; it's hot.

  1. want some distinctive tasting heat

First found the sherry pepper sauce as so many have while in Bermuda. Not a real on fire sauce person but Outerbridge's sherry pepper sauce adds so much. Even a simple glass of V-8 juice that I dose with ground pepper gets a splash of sherry pepper cause. I can imagine what it would do to a Bloody Mary. I make my own version of gaspacho this time of year with all the tomato's cukes, onion, red peppers etc. in goes the sherry sauce. I even make a terrific "Taco Soup" (secret recipe) ;-) but I will admit there is room for sherry pepper sauce.

  2. Hot, but balanced

We discovered this sauce in Bermuda in 1992 and have enjoyed it since. It has the snap of sherry and spices, but very nicely blended so that the flavor is not drowned out by the peppers. Very good in sauces, soups and the like.
